Social Media Community Specialist

Social Media Community Specialist who is passionate about growing JMS’s social media presence. The Social Media Community Specialist enjoys the dual role of being the voice of the JMS brand, as well as the voice of the community at JMS. To perform this role well, the person must be a talented writer who enjoys researching and writing content

Department & supervisor

You will be part of the Global Marketing team. You will report directly to the Director.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Marketing team to create strategic plans to provide direction for JMS’s social media communications

  • Construct and reconstruct JMS website as a tools to inform JMS presence to the global community
  • Build, write and manage and grow JMS’s social media presence through blogs, Twitter, Face book, LinkedIn and other relevant online assets
  • Use Google Analytics and other tools to provide reports on engagement metrics, and to drive improvements on those metrics through new initiatives and testing

Assist and contribute to JMS’s online lead generation program

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising and  communications
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • At least 4 years’ experiences in web design and  communications, preferably in customer support role
  • Familiar with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Application must include writing samples such as blog articles or link to online portfolio
